Inapa Group at the World Finance Awards 2023 Most Sustainable companies

Inapa Group was awarded at the World Finance magazine’s Sustainability Awards, in the category Most Sustainable Companies | Pulp and Paper.

The jury panel closely analysed Inapa’s Sustainability Plan, which includes ambitious goals for production, forestry and people, among many other initiatives. The company was also recognised for its alignment with the Paris Agreement and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), highlighting the Group’s Gender Equality Plan, the adoption of the FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) and PEFC (Program for the Endorsement for the Forest Certification) systems, the increased use of recyclable materials in Inapa’s operations, the increase in the volume of purchases from suppliers with credible and internationally recognised standards by 75% until 2022, and also the reduction of waste production in Inapa’s facilities by 15% in 2022. The commitment to strategies for sustainable growth and profitability is also underlined.

Last but not least, Inapa stood out from the competition for the resilience of its approach during the pandemic, which is reflected in the resulting financial performance that demonstrates the strong operational characteristics of the company’s business model.
